Spotlight search

One search for apps, settings, files, projects, math, conversions, emoji, clipboard, commands, the AI and the web

Tap Super (press and release it alone), press Super+Space or Super+A, or click the search icon. Type; ↑/↓ choose, Enter opens, Esc closes.

With Aurora AI's search by meaning on, documents are also found by what they're about, not only their names.

Right-click a result

  • Apps: pin to the dock or the desktop.
  • Files: open in Files, copy the path, or hand to the Assistant.
  • Projects: open a configured workspace (editor, terminal and Files together).

Choose what Spotlight searches in Settings → Desktop & Dock → Search.
