| Spotlight | Type ? your question. |
| Terminal | ask "find files bigger than 1 GB in my home" suggests a command and runs it if you answer y. make 2>&1 | why explains an error and the fix. |
| Writing Tools | Select text in any app and press Super+Shift+W: Proofread, Friendlier, More Professional, Shorter, Summarize, Key Points, Translate. Then Copy the result or Replace Selection. |
| Files | Right-click a file → Summarize with Aurora or Ask Aurora About This File…; in a Git repository, Summarize Git Changes… (you review it first). |
| Screenshots | Ask Aurora on the screenshot notification explains what's on screen. |
| Notifications | With three or more notifications in the list, a Summarize button sums them up. |
| Dictation | Super+H starts, again stops; the text is typed where the cursor is. Speech is recognized on your computer (faster-whisper). |
| Read aloud | Select text and press Super+Shift+R. Voices run on your computer (Piper). |
| Search by meaning | Spotlight finds documents by what they're about. The index (EmbeddingGemma, SQLite) stays on your computer. |
Each one has its own switch in Settings → AI, and downloads what it needs (a model, a voice, the speech model) only when you turn it on.
