Configuration files
Where Aurora keeps its settings, which files you can edit, and what each does
Your settings

dconf (org.aurora.desktop) | Almost every Aurora setting. See GSettings keys. |
| ~/.config/labwc/rc.xml | Keyboard shortcuts, input devices, workspaces, window behavior (both sessions read it). Safe to edit; Settings keeps your changes. |
| ~/.config/aurora/wayfire.ini | The Aurora session's compositor configuration, generated from your settings: don't edit, it's rewritten. |
| ~/.config/aurora/compositor | wayfire or labwc: the compositor of the Aurora session. |
| ~/.config/aurora/locale.conf | Your language and formats. |
| ~/.config/aurora/keyboard.conf | Your keyboard layouts. |
| ~/.config/aurora/displays.sh | The display layout, applied at login. |
| ~/.config/aurora/desktop-profiles.json | Your saved desktop profiles. |
| ~/.config/aurora/welcome-done | Present once the Welcome app has run. |
| ~/.config/autostart/ | Apps that start at login (and overrides that turn system ones off). |
| ~/.config/gtk-4.0/gtk.css, ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css | Aurora's style imports; add your own CSS below Aurora's header line. |
| ~/.config/starship.toml | The prompt (start from /etc/aurora/starship.toml). |
| ~/.bashrc | Anything on top of /etc/aurora/bashrc. |
